It is usually caused by a change in blood flow, or change in awareness of that blood flow, in the vessels near the ear. WebbThe reason is because these head rushes serve as a release of the "must-obsessivly-think-and-worry-about-this" anxiety tension I often suffer from. It is a dreadful and exhausting sensation of pressure in the head which results in a focus attention/awareness that refuses to rest or go to sleep.
