WebTurned off GameFirst and it worked without issue. Turns out it was de-prioritizing Steam (Steam was set to Low) , so I was unable to make/maintain multiplayer connections. I set Steam to extreme and we played without issue. Because of the prioritization some games may see an increase in ping instead of the claimed "improved ping".
