I replaced the stock fans on mine with 3x Noctua industrial 3000 RPM jet engines and flipped them in as intake instead of top exhaust (in a large Fractal Design 7 XL case) and it helped immensely (and cools my RAM too). Just unscrew the 12 fan screws, then unplug the fan from the harness.
