That looks almost identical to the Dewalt 9 inch radial arm saw I picked up at a garage … WebJul 15, 2002 · hold the timber firmly against the table until the cut is well established. on the infeed side keep the fingers at least 6" away from the blade guard at all times - use a push stick to finish the cut. don't put your fingers on the outfeed side at all. make sure the timber is fully supported on the outfeed side.

Black & Decker bought DeWalt in the 60's and very quickly dropped the cast arms for the cheaper roll formed sheet steel arms on the smaller machines (10 and 12 inch). Delta stayed with the cast arm for quite a while after that. WebAug 14, 2007 · If your saw has the power (I have a 16" '55 Dewalt GE with a 3 horse motor) cutting 2.5 inch thick hard wood is no problem. Ive not used the smaller MB hobby models. I think that they had 3/4 to 1 1/2 horse motors so fewer teeth might be good. There is a very active Dewalt RAS forum on Yahoo forums. These guys know everything!!

WebMay 8, 2015 · Here's a pic of the hardware for the drop leaf. This was a feature DeWalt made for the model 925's. If you look at my "before" pictures which are the last two you'll see that the original table also had the drop leaf. I just had to drill and transplant the hardware.
