I’m 5 days PP. but my issue right now is a burning/stinging sensation around the site area though the incision is healing ok. But I can’t get up and move around without crying due to the pain 😔. WebSwelling after C-section is caused by extra fluid in tissues. This can lead to swelling on the face, ankles, hands and feet or around an incision area and IV fluids are often responsible for provoking it as well! Manifestations include tissue enlargement with skin stretching where there might be dimples present from pressing too hard (AOG).
